EFR will receive a new 4,000 gallon tanker
Saturday, 09 May 2009 14:26
The Fire District has contracted with Central States Fire Apparatus LLC to provide a 4,000 gallon capacity tender.  This unit will enhance the existing fleet and is designed with features such as a 750gpm pump and wet side polypropylene tank.  This is the first wet side (exposed tank) that is included in the EFR inventory.   The advantages include reduced weight, size, cost and greater durability.  The anticipated delivery time is January 2010.
