The maintenance division was established to preserve the physical assets of EFR by incorporating cyclical testing and prevention measures to insure reliable equipment while practicing responsible economics.

The scope of responsibilities continues to grow with the introduction of new techniques and procedures with a goal of completing all maintenance “in house”. With that goal in mind, in 2006 a 6,000 square foot maintenance facility was provided to fulfill the maintenance requirements of a growing inventory which consists of 50 vehicles and 10 facilities. Additionally, the EFR Vehicle Maintenance Division provides services to several other regional departments.

Division employees afford a fundamental foundation of knowledge based upon generations of experience and are actively continuing education in the most current sector practices. We are proud to be a component of a first class team of emergency service professionals.
